ONE of Dorset’s leading specialist employment lawyers has joined Bournemouth solicitors Steele Raymond to lead the employment team.
Amy Cousineau Massey has joined the top-tier dispute resolution team at Steele Raymond at its Bournemouth head office on Richmond Hill.
Amy is a specialist employment solicitor and joins an established and experienced team which advises a wide range of businesses, from start-ups to large established companies, and supports clients with a range of employment law requirements including discrimination and employment tribunal proceedings.
“Steele Raymond has an excellent reputation in employment law across the south coast and I’m excited to be joining the team. The growth of the firm in recent years has been exceptional and I’m really looking forward to playing a part in the vision and expansion going forward,” said Amy.
With a particular specialism in social media law, Amy brings a wealth of experience in newly emerging laws as the dynamics of running business in a digital world gathers pace.
Amy added: “Employees are the key asset of any business. The rapid pace of changes within employment law, coupled with the changing pace of communication in the workplace can be a challenge for business owners.”
“Employees are increasingly aware of their rights, so it is now more important than ever to manage human resources carefully and efficiently, particularly when it comes to social media.”
Peter Rolph, Managing Partner and head of the firm’s Dispute Resolution team at Steele Raymond, said: “Amy is a welcome and valuable addition to head up our employment law team and we are delighted to have her on board. We see employment law as a key area for growth and support for our commercial teams”
“Amy’s appointment will further strengthen our already strong team. Her experience in employment law will add a new range of services that we are able to offer our clients across the south coast.”
