The Marsham Court Hotel in Russell-Cotes Road has welcomed new Reception manager Chloe Rust, Restaurant manager Bethanie Zaphronelle and Wedding and Events Coordinator Kat Tegg.
Rosie Wallace, Managing director of the family-run Marsham Court said: “We are thrilled to welcome Kat, Chloe and Bethanie. All three women bring new talents to the hotel. They are also full of enthusiasm and have some great ideas to drive the business forward. A strong frontline team is vital to a hotel and ours is young, dynamic and already proving very popular with our guests.”
New Restaurant manager Bethanie Zaphronelle, 23, hails from Sheffield and has five years’ experience in restaurant and bar management.
She said: “The Marsham Court is one of the few remaining silver service hotels in Bournemouth and I’ve been very impressed by the hard work and commitment of its restaurant staff. I’m now looking forward to introducing some of my own ideas to improve even further on the hotel’s food offering.”
Bethanie was previously the deputy manager of Sheffield’s Soyo Cocktail Bar and is a self-confessed adrenaline junkie.
She said: “While working in event management for UK Bungee I discovered a passion for jumping from a great height with just a piece of elastic around my ankle!”
She continued: “There’s no shortage of exciting things to do here in Bournemouth. I have already tried paddle boarding and am now looking forward to doing some rock climbing and kayaking.”
Chloe Rust, 23, joins the Marsham Court from the Hallmark Hotel in Bournemouth, where she worked in Reservations.
A former Grange School and Bournemouth & Poole College student, Chloe has experience in both hotel back and front offices.
This is her first role as a Reception manager.
She said: “I’m enjoying meeting the guests – some of whom have been coming here since before I was born. I’m now relishing the chance to look at the hotel’s current practises and introduce new ones to make a smoother and more efficient service. “
Kat Tegg, 20, from Poole, has just said: “I do” to the role of Wedding & Events Coordinator.
The former Parkstone Grammar School pupil said: “Having worked with a local wedding planner and organising weddings myself, I’m thrilled to be leading wedding and events at the Marsham Court. It’s a very busy and exciting environment and I’m very much looking forward to making our couples’ big day the very best they could wish for.”
