Bournemouth based catering charity Crumbs are officially taking orders for the festive season! Having only recently hosted their first ever Open Day on Friday the 1st of December, the team have certainly been busy for the Christmas period ahead, and are excited to showcase their gorgeous Christmas menus – now available for booking…
A successful event for Crumbs
During the Open Day, visitors had the opportunity to view the Crumbs facility, meet the trainees, try some gorgeous homemade food and mingle with the Directors. With even a visit from the mayor and tours of the centre, organisers were thrilled by how the day turned out. A fabulous way for the Crumbs team to start the festive season. As Greg Singleton, Crumbs organiser states:
“We wanted to kick off the festive season in the right way with something new. The Open Day was a fantastic event and a great success, it’s been brilliant to see so many people interested in what we do here and support our great cause. We’re excited to see what happens with our Christmas menus!”
The Crumbs Project is a catering service, working with mixed ability young adults to support them through structured training, develop their learning and professional skills. The organisation regularly host community lunches to involve the public in their work. Having only launched their first one this summer, the lunches have risen in popularity, the Open Day was therefore a brilliant way to include customers, trainees and Directors in their journey – and just in time for Christmas!
