Dorset Chartered Builders, Greendale Construction Limited, has welcomed four new employees to its Poole based headquarters, in-line with the Company’s impressive continued growth.
Ian Whithorn has joined the team as estimator/contracts manager in the Small Works Division which undertakes projects from £1,000 to £400,000k within a 100 mile radius of its Poole office. With over 30 years continual employment within the construction industry, including experience on a diverse range of building projects, design and build and listed building works, Ian will be a key member of the division which continues to expand and is a major contributor to the Company’s overall turnover.
Richard Tite, has taken on the role of BID manager and will be responsible for writing Greendale’s BID submissions, implementing PQQ submissions, as well as working closely alongside the BD director on the business development and marketing side of the Company. Originally from Poole, Richard has recently relocated back to the county to take up this role with Greendale.
Tyler Cooper has joined Greendale as an apprentice site carpenter. Having previously been part of a St Aldhelms School group on a site visit to The Priory Hotel, Wareham, Tyler then went on to complete two weeks work experience with Greendale in 2017, before applying for an apprenticeship this year. Tyler is predominantly working within the Small Works Division and is being mentored by Rob Leonard.
Alex Capewell has also joined the Small Works Division team in the role of multi-skilled tradesperson. Alex has joined the Company from BCHA where he had previously worked with our Small Works Division manager, Shelley Davies. Having worked within the construction industry for most of his life Alex brings with him a wealth of experience and will be using his skills to work on various Small Works projects including Bournemouth Airport and St Phillips Church.
