Clare Gallie, is the new CEO for Lewis-Manning Hospice, who has lots of exciting plans to get the charity more involved within the local community commented saying:
“Here at Lewis-Manning we try and create a home away from home by creating a welcoming, warm and positive atmosphere. Our staff are all caring and thoughtful during these difficult and challenging times in people’s lives. The NHS only covers a quarter of our funds, which means we have to find the rest, by winning £1,000 it would help us immensely to keep offering our patients 110% level of care and treatments, which is what they deserve.”
Mark Hews, group Chief Executive at Ecclesiastical, said: “Trusted by our customers for over 130 years, we are proud to protect the irreplaceable – charities, schools, churches, homes and communities – right across the UK and abroad. As a company whose purpose is to contribute to the greater good of society, charitable giving is at the heart of our business. Our Movement for Good awards will help charities change lives for the better and we know that for many charities, £1,000 can make a real difference.”
