“The public nomination and voting categories give everyone a chance to tell us about their experiences. The process is simple and effective as the nominations come via visitors and locals, and the categories allow them to tell us about the unsung heroes who have served them their breakfast, glass of wine or cocktails, or the people who put on great events and attract visitors, it is great for someone who runs a small niche businesses or a unique tea room which serves the most impressive and memorable afternoon tea and bakes a superb scone or cake! These categories allow everyone working in and around the industry to see who the public feel are our GREATEST ambassadors in the community.
We have already seen tremendous support for the Awards and interest has exploded because of the opportunities they provide in building credibility and in generating positive PR and further awareness for this top class resort.” said Jackie Phillipson, Director of ROUTEpr and the tourism partner in charge of implementing the 2017 Tourism Awards.
