A practical workshop about the new General Data Protection Regulations and how they affect Charitable organisations. As part of the workshop, participants will understand under what circumstances a DPIA is required, and have the opportunity to apply the GDPR principles by taking part in a guided Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) designed specifically for the Charitable Sector.
This workshop will help charities meet their legal requirements under GDPR by showing them how to conduct a thorough and repeatable privacy impact assessment for any existing or new system, process, or project.
This workshop is free to attend, but is open only for those working for or with charities.
If you are attending and have a specific project, process, or system in mind that requires a DPIA, please contact the organisers and we will try to incorporate it into the workshop.
