Will you bite the bullet, overcome your fears, channel your inner ‘adrenaline junkie’ and walk 20 feet over 670C degree coals? On 27th January 2017 the Mayor of Bournemouth will be hosting a charity Fire Walk raising funds for four local Charities. It will be a chance to have one of the most thrilling and exciting evenings of your life! The Mayor himself will also be taking the plunge and participating in crossing the trail of fire.
The bold and brave Fire Walkers will have two hours of ‘learn or burn training’ (don’t worry it’s just a name!) which will give them all the skills they need to complete the challenge. When the dare devils are all fired up and ready to go, the walk will be held at 6:30pm The Cumberland Hotel, Bournemouth.
You will fight fire with fire and come away with a tremendous sense of achievement, and a positivity that you can apply to all aspects of life. During this training time supporters can have supper, listen to live music and be ready to cheer you on. All Fire Walkers will receive a Certificate of Achievement on completion of their walk. Sponsors of this exhilarating event include Bournemouth Vision Centre of Southbourne, Wilton Funeral Services and Just Shutters.
Said Mayor of Bournemouth Cllr Eddie Coope, “Come and join me – as individuals or as a Corporate Team – for a night of adventure! Meet new friends and help raise money for four local Charities.”
The minimum age is 14 years but there is no upper age limit so the whole family can participate.
